Powerful Fiber Transport From MultiDyne With the Flexibility of openGear

If you need powerful fiber transport, whether for broadcast or corporate AV, the MultiDyne OG-4600 Series allows you to transport uncompressed and unprocessed signals for maximum signal integrity with the flexibility of openGear.

At NAB 2025, Jesse Foster from MultiDyne spoke with Matt Robbins from KitPlus about how the cards in the OG-4600 Series are used with quite a few other MultiDyne devices, as well as openGear to openGear. You can also cascade them to build up larger systems.

“Over the last year, MultiDyne engineering has been focusing on continuing to have more integration with our openGear card set across our other offerings,” Jesse said. “All of the specialty products that you use at the edge are now able to go to a unified homogenous solution in openGear in the machine room” using the OG-4600 Series for cross compatibility.

They also talked about their ST 2110 gateway solutions, the MDoG-6060 and MDoG-6061, that are available in a variety of I/O configurations. They could sit right next to an openGear base station card, and you’d have a unified frame system in your fly pack to do all your signal I/O for your camera system.
